Most of the time people try to avoid conflict, but when used correctly I think that it is actually a good thing. Conflict spurs creativity.
In fact, John Dewey, the famous psychologist once said –
“Conflict is the gadfly of thought. It stirs us to observation and memory. It instigates invention. It shocks us out of sheep-like passivity, and sets us at nothing and contriving. Not it always effects this result; but that conflict is a sine qua non of reflection and ingenuity.”
